Speaking of the flesh and bone Sam Wheat, 3 teams last night had homages to the lithe star. Patrick Swayze's Biopsy Results, Ghost 2: Patrick Swayze's Revenge and Crazy for Swayze. So at least one wasn't mocking a person's battle with pancreatic cancer, although it was the least funny. I guess its a give and take thing.

In any case, last night's Quizzo was packed. This writer nearly didn't get a table. I mean, I would have just shoved another groups dishes and drinks off the table, challenging their rule of said table by putting on a fierce display of machismo which would have ended with their tearful and hurried exits, but luckily it didn't have to come to that and we got a table. So as I fitted my Crocodile Dundee knife back into my back-sheath, the quiz started and was one of the hardest I can remember.

I did terrible, as did most of the other teams in the first round. Next week I'm going to have to brush up on my knowledge of serial killers, period pieces and WWII plane nicknames.

Yeah. Not really.

I will however spend hours of my free time reading LOST theories so that when there are trivia questions about this show in a few years time, I will have forgotten that too and blame my lack of memory on giving a shit about some futuristic inter-brain entertainment a la Strange Days.

The last round was no easier than the first two. What? I didn't talk about Round 2?

So Round 3 was no easier than the first two. European car companies, album art from The Eels and bra history. At least the Simpsons question was pretty easy. Until next week Quizzonauts!
